Childhood Matters Conference

Early Childhood Careers Program and the Renton Technical College Foundation are pleased to be hosting the 10th Annual Childhood Matters Conference to be held on Saturday, April 21, 2011.  Proceeds are used to fund scholarships for students working on their Early Childhood Degree.  Our primary focus this year will be on supporting social-emotional development.

Our Childhood Matters Conference provides professional training opportunities for child care providers, teachers, and parents to gain skills and knowledge for their work with diverse groups of families and children.  The people who attend this conference are from different professional focuses, geographic locations and personal cultures, offering a unique opportunity for participants to collaborate, network and learn together.
