Sponge, a leader in language education, is offering a free family event celebrating the Chinese Lantern Festival. Kids will have a chance to participate in an array of arts and crafts projects, including creating and decorating their own paper lanterns, and an opportunity to sample tasty dumplings, which are a traditional part of Chinese celebrations. As well, native-speaking teachers from Sponge will offer mini language classes in Mandarin, Spanish, French and Japanese. This event is recommended for children ages 10 and younger with their families. Please RSVP to events@spongeschool.com or 425-274-5188.
