 ion of pro-bono legal services during the past 13 years. Services have
  included review of various contracts, leases, and human resources pol
 icies as well as legal advice on a wide range of issues.\n\nK&L Gates 
 Partner Stephanie Wright Pickett states, “K&L Gates has provided str
 ategic legal guidance to the Denise Louie Education Center for many ye
 ars, working hand-in-hand with the organization to help it continue it
 s outstanding early childhood learning work that is so important to th
 e community. Our firm, which has a rich history of pro bono service, i
 s honored to be recognized by the Denise Louie Education Center.\"\n\n
 “We estimate that over the years, the value of these services has to
 taled more than $100,000. That’s a huge benefit to us and means that
  we can spend that much more on classroom supplies, teacher salaries, 
 and professional development,“ says Janice Deguchi, Denise Louie Edu
 cation Center’s Executive Director.\n\nK&L Gates will receive their 
 award at Denise Louie Education Center’s 2010 Dinner and Auction on 
 Saturday, September 25, 2010 at The Showbox SoDo (1700 1st Ave S, Seat
 tle WA 98134) from 5:30-9:30pm. All proceeds from this event will go t
 o fund the early learning and family support services that Denise Loui
 e Education Center offers to over 300 families each year. Last year’
 s event raised over $84,000 for at-risk families enrolled in the progr
