Through a combination of lecture and hands-on activities we teach participants about organic gardening, garden design, team building, program development, nutrition, cooking, art in the garden, and more. Teams of three or more people from a school or garden project are encouraged to attend this workshop to best strengthen your program. This three part series will provide educators, parents and community volunteers with the essentials for cultivating and maintaining a schoolyard garden.
Teachers will receive 32 clock hours for their participation in the fall workshop series. Clock hour details will be included in your registration confirmation. Cost is $40 per workshop. For our Garden Educator Workshops we are only accepting paper registration.
