Event Description
Leaping for Literacy! 2011 is HSDC's 3rd annual non-competitive 5K Family Fun Run/Walk, with a 1K "Tadpole Walk" for our littlest participants. Bring the whole family! 100% of event proceeds benefit the Connor R. McRae Scholarship Fund, which supports early learning for children who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing, or facing speech-language challenges. HSDC is the only community resource low-income families have for comprehensive communication assistance and early childhood education programs that promote a strong, healthy family unit.
