Supporting the Social and Emotional Intelligences of Children
What does it look like/sound like when schools support the social and emotional intelligences of children and families? What does current research tell us about the connections between social/emotional growth and learning? How do environments, materials and the arts play vital roles? What possibilities emerge when caring relationships between and among children and adults are valued and nurtured? Opal School staff share their on-going experiences and invite inquiry into these questions.
