Oh Story Tree
Shake your branches free
Out come all the fun and wondrous stories.
Oh Story Tree
How you oversee ...
All the tales that tell of African glory.
lyrics from Story Tree music and lyrics by Sue Ennis
Auntie Lena’s African Stories
Auntie Lena and her animal friends tell three African stories of friendship. Jackal loves to trick his friend Hare into making her play his favorite game in J
ackal’s Favorite Game.
The Monkey’s Heart is a trickster story of a friendship betrayed, and new friendship is explored in
Why Frog and Snake Never Play Together.
Val Thomas-Matson plays the title role of Auntie Lena and Gavin Cummins and Bridé Schroeder-LaPlatney are the puppeteers in the show directed by Jean Enticknap. The music and songs of Sue Ennis are featured in the production.
