Hi, My name is Janelle. I live in the Suncrest, WA area and I have an in-home licensed childcare home. I watch about 10 kids, mostly not at the same time. I have two kids of my own. Jacob is 13, Mia is 10. I am a christian and I am actively involved at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Suncrest. I love christian music. I play bass guitar in our praise band and I am also learning to play an acoustic guitar. I started watching kids at home so that I could stay home with my own kids and have some income. I found that I really love what I am doing, so I may be doing it for awhile. I love kids. I am excited for this website because I would like to get to know other providers so that I can help others and maybe get support from other people. I have been licensed for nine years. I didn't originally think that I would do childcare this long, but I really love my job. I don't commute to work, and I'm able to enjoy my home and other people's kids at the same time. The daycare kids are really an extension of my own family. We have a lot of good times together. I enjoy visiting, communicating and playing games with them.
Hi Friends,

You will learn all about us in this report containing one and half decade "A CHILDREN GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN TO GRACE ASSOCITION PAKISTAN",

Hi my name is Amber Smith. I have been a Family Childcare provider for almost 5 years! I started my own business because I wanted to be able to spend time with my daughter and this was the best option for our family. I have always known that I wanted to work with young children to make a difference in their lives.
Hi,
My name is Susan Pederson. I have been a licensed Daycare Provider for nearly 15 years. Recently, I became the STARS coordinator for CCFCCA (www.ccfccaweb.org), a daycare association in Vancouver, WA. My job is to find quality trainers for STARS education during our monthly meetings. Maybe someday it will be one of you! I began daycare when I found it necessary to return to the work force after enjoying 7 years as a stay-at-home mom. This has been the joy of my life ever since, my own children are now 24, 21 and 16.

Hello,
My "home away from home" is the Whitman County Library in Colfax, WA. I am the Youth Services Manager of WCL with 14 branches serving our rural Eastern Washington area. With a past K-12 teaching background of many years, I made a career switch to the library world to become involved in early learning and young readers.
The WCL offers many parenting and early learning services along with Storytimes for birth to kindergarten children and after school programs to encourage literacy. We are the community's #1 resource for information, recreation, and discovery for all ages. Check us out... www.whitco.lib.wa.us

Greetings! I'm brand new to the Early Learning Community, but already I'm very impressed and excited! I'm a CDA Instructor and Advisor (Child Development Associate credential), and I've taught Early Childhood Education at the college level. My favorite thing to teach is preschool, but now that I've reached the age where my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak :) I'm content to share with adults who can, in turn, directly impact the lives of children.

I'm also privileged to be a Supervisor with Usborne Books, which publishes what really are the best educational books on the market. In this capacity, I've been able to get free and discounted books for many schools, preschools, and child care facilities. It's a very rewarding line of work!

Although my career has taken many paths, including a homeless project I worked on with the support and blessing of Mister Rogers himself, the focus has always been on children. And I'm impressed by all of you who are dedicated to enriching the lives of our smallest and most precious little people!
Hello my name is Pam Wilson and I have been in the field of early learning for 14 1/2 years. I became a Family Childcare Provider when I was pregnant with my son. I wanted to be able to stay home with him. I did that for 3 years. Then I worked for Head Start for 3 1/2 years and presently I am working at Discovery Center Preschool in Aberdeen, WA. I have been at Discovery Center Prerschool for 8 years. I really enjoy working with preschool age children. I believe after families we are the first teacher of young children. I also have been working with the Washington Educators in Early Learning (WEEL) to ensure that childcare worker have a voice at the table in decision making for childcare centers in Washington State. I have a strong passion for the work I do in early learning. I hope to make some new connections and a few new friends by being a part of this community. I look forward to chatting with you all. Pam Wilson
Is there anyone else in this community a member of Washington Educators in Early Learning (WEEL). Pam Wilson
Hi! I am Lee and I am part of The American School of protocol. We are passionate about the value etiquette and manners bring to each and every child. We have countless stories of how this training has brought confidence, courage, consideration, improved social skills and the list goes on, to the lives of children starting at age 3. We are so passionate that for the past 7 years, we have focused solely on training others to open successful consulting businesses of their own so we can reach even more children with our great program. Let us know how we might help you or recommend other sites where we might reach even more like minded people!
