Hi! I am Lee and I am part of The American School of protocol. We are passionate about the value etiquette and manners bring to each and every child. We have countless stories of how this training has brought confidence, courage, consideration, improved social skills and the list goes on, to the lives of children starting at age 3. We are so passionate that for the past 7 years, we have focused solely on training others to open successful consulting businesses of their own so we can reach even more children with our great program. Let us know how we might help you or recommend other sites where we might reach even more like minded people!

Hi my name Kelly Hudson. I have been a child care provider in Everett, WA for almost 15 years now. I am currently a Ph.D. student focusing on early childhood development with an emphasis on social-emotional development. I enjoy working with children and their families. I am in the middle of research and have contacted other child care providers in the area to participate in a 20-30 minuter interview, but no one has returned calls or emails. As I was conducting literature research today, I found this site & decided to become a member. I love the History of Child Care in Washington State video. It resonates exactly what I am doing right now, so it was a great resource.

As a child care provider, I'm interested in delivering quality care to all children that I have the opportunity to work with.

Hello all,

Shahla from Los Angeles here. I'm studying in New Haven and am currently an intern for the wonderful Tomorrow's Youth Organization in Nablus in the occupied Palestinian territories. I teach science to young kids and English to mothers and, when I'm not doing that, I'm working on the organization's social media aspect.

Excited to join the community and get to know all of you better.

Thanks,
Shahla

Hello, my name is Tone Stakes and I am from A Whole Village.com. I'm looking forward to learning about new and interesting ideas for early learning. I have my first child on the way in two months and I thought I would try and pick up as much information now to be able to give my child a strong start.

I am an advocate of education as I feel it is one of the few aspects of life that can never be taken away from you.

At A Whole Village, we create books that compile all of the wisdom from those people around your child to give your child a lifelong book that can help to guide them through the various phases of life. At least that is the hope.....

Thanks for letting me join, I look forward to learning.

Hello everyone!

My name is Richard Reynolds and I'm an Early Childhood Education student at Olympic College in Bremerton.

I'm pursuing my Associate degree in ECE and I'm currently looking for work in the field. I have two children of my own, both daughters, aged 13 and 8. I have completed my Practicum and am one class away from having my Stars certificate. I have worked as a graphic artist most of my adult life and last year I decided that I would like to pursue my long held ambition to be a preschool teacher. My ultimate goal is to work as an artist-in-residence at a Reggio Emilia inspired child care center. I find a great deal of inspiration from the creativity of children. They have a natural curiosity and desire to experiment through creative means.

I'm really happy to have found this forum as I'm currently looking for employment in a new field and I have a lot of questions. Any advice and encouragement from long time Early Learning professionals would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Erin

I recently joined this group as a pediatric speech pathologist to network with other early learning professionals. I also self published an educational childrens book I designed to promote speech sound development and imitation of gestures, sounds, and words. I see you work with a group of librarians on the Early Learning Public Library Partnership. I am ready to begin marketing my book to libraries and wonder if you could possibly help me. Feel free to visit my website in order to get a better feel for my early learning book. My website is https://thebigbookofexclamations.com
I look forward to hearing from you Erin. Thanks for your time today and have a wonderful week!
