"Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon" is my favorite book. It's a great message for kids, and people of all ages

I love reading the following three books to my class and my two nieces and nephew. These are books I enjoyed listening to as a kid during reading hour and now I have the pleasure of sharing them with children. Amazing writing and illustrations!

Peter Spiers "Rain"
I love this book with rich illustrations, and no words. A great way to develop storytelling with young children. The story is never the same, different children focus on different elements of the illustrations. I have also used it to "emerge" some rainy day curriculum.

Flotsam by David Wiesner
This book does not have any words, but has brilliant visuals. You can still use it to ask your son or daughter "what is happening here" and have them explain the story of the visuals

My 3-year old son loves to read! Two books we repetitively read: Guess How Much I Love You and Mr. Happy!
