About Thurston Early Childhood Coalition

PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of the coalition is to work collectively to create and promote a comprehensive system of high quality early care environments that are accessible, affordable, and effective. Further, the Coalition’s purpose is to help young children, with the support of their parents and caregivers, develop the social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills that they need to succeed in school and life.

Teresa Winstead outlines the research behind the exhibit. This is a great tool that's easy to include at any event for children and parents.
