Tips and resources to support children birth to age five

Kindergarten Readiness

Kindergarten Readiness means a child is ready to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. No individual quality makes a boy or girl ready for kindergarten, but thinking about a child's social, emotional, physical health and development can go a long way.

Below is the Getting School Ready!® booklet, a handy guide with valuable questions to ask as your child prepares for kindergarten. Getting School Ready!® is a free guide, available in nine languages. You can view it online or order printed copies.
