Parent Ambassadors need help with a state wide advocacy orentation event
I am currently organizing a state wide advocacy orentation event for Head Start/ Early Head Start/ ECEAP parents. At this time I am looking for help on creating some goodie/ information bags for center parents that attend these events. I was wonderting if you might know of any one in your ogranization that could help out on this, or know of other organizations that could help out? (examples are bags for the event, pre-school friendly goodies, low-income resource information, ect..)

Early Learning Section Vetoed
I just learned that the early learning section of the basic education reform bill was vetoed by the Governor today. In her message to folks she said that she could not support early learning services for at risk children only and that it needed to be broader based. Apparently, no one was told about the veto until this morning when DEL and early learning advocates lined up to be part of the bill signing and were informed of the situation. Looking for advocacy training & events
The WSA Parent Ambassadors are looking for Advocacy trainings and events all over the state- (as we are all over the state)- low cost would be great as we are all Head Start or ECEAP parents (past and pres). If you know of anything please let me know!-
