How did you become passionate about early learning?

I started working for Head Start 19 years ago and I saw what a difference children who had a Early Childhood experience were so much more prepared for the public shcool system.

Tell us more about your interests and background

I'm responsible for notifying our sites about community resources and events.
My background: I'm a graduate from WSU with a degree in Child Family Studies. I started working with Head Start shortly after graduating from college. I enjoyed working closely working with the parents and it sparked my desire to continue with my passion of working directly with the families or supporting staff who do. .
