Happy 40th Birthday Sesame Street!

I used to watch Sesame Street during my morning cereal. Later, I watched my little sister watch Sesame Street during our morning cereal. Today's article in the New York Times about Sesame's 40th birthday gives an interesting look at how the show has changed over the years.I don't have a TV or kids now, but someday I'll probably turn to Sesame Street again. The New York Times published an excellent article today about the importance of talking with your kids, no matter how young, and cites some great examples: counting the steps while ascending them, asking your child what they'd like for a snack, and importantly, paying attention when your child talks to you.
