Tips and resources to support children birth to age five

It’s not easy being a mom or dad these days … or a grandparent or family friend, for that matter. We’re all bombarded with information that affects children and that’s confusing.

We learn about stuff that might be harmful but that we don’t have much control over. We learn about stuff that might be helpful but we’re not sure what to do or how much.

It’s no wonder that parents today often feel as if they’re searching for answers that just don’t exist.

Let me show you a way of thinking about the questions you have and a way of figuring out solutions to the challenges you and your family face that will serve you well throughout your time as an active parent with children at home. Because information is ever-changing, you need a firm foundation from which to evaluate new ideas and find strategies that work for you and your family. I can help you with that.

In my experience as a parent, single-parent and grandmother, in my training as an educational psychologist specializing in human development and learning, and in my work as an author, coach, radio host and trainer in all areas of child development, teaching and parenting I have gathered knowledge and wisdom that I’m eager to share with you. Let’s talk!

I understand how important your children are to you and I appreciate how hard you’re trying to be an excellent parent. Together, we can solve the problems you face.

I’m here for you every day on Foundation for Early Learning. Watch for my blog posts, put a question to me on the forum, or send me a message through the Early Learning Community.
