President Obama is providing historic leadership to increase federal support for early childhood education.
Next week, your representatives in Congress have a chance to stand with our state's youngest learners.
The full U.S. House of Representatives is planning to vote next week on the new
Early Learning Challenge Fund. If adopted, the fund would provide $8 Billion over 8 years through competitive grants among states like Washington to improve quality and access to early learning programs.
This is an opportunity our kids can't afford to miss. Tell your federal legislators to
VOTE YES on HR 3221 to support investments in young children now.
Research shows that kids' first years affect the rest of their lives. Kids who get high quality early learning are more likely to go to college, less likely to go to jail, and more likely to earn a good living than kids who don't.
